For the LIUNA LOCAL 183 building, we undertook a major roof replacement project involving the complete removal and disposal of the existing BUR (Built-Up Roofing) layers and perimeter flashing. This thorough process ensured a clean slate for the new roofing system and addressed any underlying issues.
We then installed a state-of-the-art 2-ply modified bitumen membrane system, renowned for its superior waterproofing capabilities and durability. This upgrade was essential for enhancing the building’s protection against the elements and extending the lifespan of the roof.
Additionally, we replaced the existing drains with new retrofit drains to improve drainage efficiency and reduce the risk of leaks. This upgrade was crucial in maintaining the roof’s integrity and ensuring long-term performance in all weather conditions.
